Under Asking is a free weekly email published by Reazi. This page explains what we collect when you subscribe, what we do with it, and how to get rid of it.

What we collect

Two things, both of which you type into the form yourself:

Our email platform also records ordinary delivery information — whether an email was opened, whether a link was clicked, and roughly where it was opened from. We don't ask for your name, your address, or anything about the property you're looking at.

Why we collect it

The email address is so we can send you the newsletter. The state is so that, once enough people in a given state have subscribed, we can send an edition that covers their market rather than the national picture. Until then everyone gets the same email.

We'll also use your email address to tell you when Reazi, the property platform behind the newsletter, opens to buyers. That's stated on the signup form and it's part of what you're agreeing to.

Who else sees it

Your details are stored with beehiiv, the platform that sends the newsletter, and handled under their privacy terms. Nobody else. We don't sell the list, rent it, share it with agents, or hand it to anyone else's marketing.

Getting removed

Every email has a one-click unsubscribe at the bottom. Use it and you're off the list. If you'd rather your details were deleted outright rather than just unsubscribed, email us and we'll do that.

You can also ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it's wrong.

How long we keep it

While you're subscribed, and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can show we had your consent if we're ever asked. If you ask to be deleted, we delete.

Consent

We only email people who asked to be emailed. There's a checkbox on the signup form and a confirmation email you have to click before anything is sent. We don't buy lists, import contacts, or add anyone who didn't ask.

Complaints and contact

Email nicholas@reazi.com.au with anything about this page, your data, or the newsletter.

If you're not happy with how we've handled a privacy matter, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, we'll say so in the newsletter rather than quietly updating it.
